END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT
Version 2.1 · Effective from 11.10.2026 · Last updated 11.10.2026
1. About this Agreement
This document is issued by AVDAUSON HEALTHTECH PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our"). The Company owns and operates the "Aarog" / "Aarog Health Records" mobile applications and the website www.aaroghealthrecords.com (together, "Aarog"). "Aarog" is a brand of the Company and is not a separate legal entity.
This End User Licence Agreement ("EULA") sets out the terms on which you may install and use the Aarog software. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Use. Liability, indemnity, disputes and governing law are dealt with in the Terms of Use, and those sections apply to this EULA as well. If this EULA and the Terms of Use differ on a matter that concerns the licensing of the software, this EULA applies; on every other matter, the Terms of Use apply.
You accept this EULA when you accept the Terms of Use at sign-up.
2. Licence
Subject to this EULA and the Terms of Use, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to download, install and use the Aarog app on devices you own or control, only for managing your own and your family members' health records for personal, non-commercial purposes. The software is licensed, not sold.
3. Restrictions
Except as permitted by section 52 of the Copyright Act, 1957 or other applicable law, or with our written consent, you must not:
- copy, modify, translate, adapt or create derivative works of the software;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to extract the source code;
- bypass or disable any security or licensing feature;
- remove any copyright, trade mark or other notice; or
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute or commercially exploit the software.
4. Ownership
All rights in the software, including its source and object code, architecture, databases, design, user interface, documentation, updates, logos and the "Aarog" name and marks, belong to the Company or its licensors. Your rights in your own records are described in section 8 of the Terms of Use.
5. Updates
We may release updates, security patches and new features. Some updates may be installed automatically, and some may be required for security or compatibility. If you do not install a required update, parts of the app may stop working until you do.
6. Open-source software
The app may include open-source components licensed under their own terms. Nothing in this EULA limits your rights under those licences. A list of open-source components and their licences is available in the app under Settings > About > Open-source licences.
7. Device requirements
The app needs a compatible device, a supported operating system version, an internet connection for syncing and AI features, and enough storage. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device or operating system version.
8. Device permissions
The app asks for a permission only when you use a feature that needs it. You can refuse or withdraw any permission in your device settings; the related feature may then not work.
| Permission | Used for | When it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Scanning prescriptions, reports and bills; profile photo | Only when you choose to take a photo |
| Photos / media and files | Uploading documents you select; exporting records | Only the files you select are accessed; we do not scan other files |
| Notifications | Medicine, appointment and follow-up reminders; security alerts | Whenever a reminder or alert is due |
| Face ID / fingerprint | Unlocking the app | Each time you unlock; handled entirely by your device – we receive only a pass/fail result and never collect biometric data |
9. Sync and backups
Records are stored securely on our servers and synced across devices signed in to your account. We keep encrypted backups for disaster recovery only; data you delete is removed from backups within 90 days. Deleted data is not restored from backups except for disaster recovery, and is then deleted again. Details are in our Data Retention Policy.
10. Beta and preview features
We may offer features marked "Beta", "Preview" or "Early Access". They may contain errors, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and may be subject to additional terms shown in the app.
11. Export and sanctions
You must not use or export the software in breach of any applicable export control or sanctions law, and you confirm that you are not prohibited by law from using it.
12. Termination of the licence
This licence ends automatically if you delete your account, if you materially breach this EULA, or if we discontinue the software. When it ends, you must stop using the app and uninstall it. Sections 3, 4 and 13 continue after termination.
13. App Store terms (for users who download Aarog from the Apple App Store)
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:
- Parties. This EULA is between you and the Company only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). The Company, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.

- Warranty. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price you paid for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are the Company's responsibility, to the extent provided in the Terms of Use.
- Product claims. The Company, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, the Company, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer contact. Questions, complaints or claims about the app should be sent to AVDAUSON HEALTHTECH PRIVATE LIMITED at the address and contact details below.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms (such as your mobile data agreement) when using the app.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and once you accept it, Apple has the right to enforce it against you as a third-party beneficiary.
14. Liability, disputes and general terms
Sections 24 (Warranties), 25 (Limitation of liability), 26 (Indemnity), 27 (Events beyond our control), 31 (Disputes, governing law and courts), 32 (Changes) and 33 (General) of the Terms of Use apply to this EULA.
